Vision and Purpose

The Worship Ministry at Airline Baptist Church exists to help all generations experience the presence of God through worship.  We believe that worship is not about performance or putting on a show, rather; it is a personal expression of how valuable God is and how much we love Him.

Worship Services

Here at Airline, we offer two distinct options for worship:
Traditional Service - features the Celebration Choir, piano, organ, and acoustic guitars leading great hymns of the past
along with some praise choruses.
Modern Service - features a team of band and singers, leading modern worship songs and a more modern environment.

Whichever service you choose, our aim is to make Jesus the focus and allow you to experience the presence of God!

Serve Opportunities:

Celebration Choir:

The Celebration Choir leads worship in the Traditional Service, presents seasonal productions and musicals, and has a lot of fun in the process! No audition is necessary and the ability to read music is helpful, but not required.

Come and join our growing family! We’ve got a spot just for you.

Rehearsals are Sundays at 4:00 PM in the Choir Room.

Worship Team:

The Worship Team is led by Zach Richardson and consists of a band and singers.  We serve on a rotation, which may be a small or larger team, depending on the needs of the service; and which also allows us to make room for new team members.

Because this is one of the most visible leadership positions in the church, this an auditioned group with high expectations. Anyone interested is encouraged to contact Zach for more information or to learn about the process.

Worship Team opportunities are available for both Traditional and Modern Services.

Audio/Video Team:

If working behind the scenes is more of your thing, we have several opportunities for you to serve! The Audio/Video team plays a vital role in all of our services and is a great place to serve. Options range from lighting and lyric operation to video camera operators, audio mixing; and more. Training is available, and if you have basic computer skills and can click a mouse, you can be a part!

Audio/Video Team opportunities are available for both Traditional and Modern Services.
