Leadership

Dr. Terry Young serves as the Lead Pastor of Airline Baptist Church, where he is passionate about communicating the truth of God’s Word and making Christ known to all generations. With a heart for ministry and a deep commitment to spiritual growth, he leads the church with a vision to reach people of all ages and backgrounds for Christ.

A graduate of Louisiana College with a degree in religion and religious education, Terry furthered his theological education with a Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and a Doctor of Ministry in Strategic Leadership from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. His academic training, combined with years of pastoral experience, fuels his dedication to the church’s mission of teaching, discipling, and empowering the community in their walk with God.

Married to Jennifer Young, Terry is the proud father of four children. As a family, they are committed to living out the gospel, both at home and in their ministry. Personally, Terry desires to be present and engaged in the life-changing work of God’s Spirit, believing wholeheartedly in the power of seeing God move in the lives of His people.
